Josefin Slab is a slab serif typeface that feels stable and solid despite its rather slender lines. Because of its frail lines, it reads poorly in long paragraphs but it works well as a display text in large sizes.
Because of its very noticeable serifs, it will combine well with simpler, minimalist types like Open Sans and Cabin.
Both Josefin Slab and Josefin Sans were created by Santiago Orozco who based his designs on the geometric fonts that were in vogue in the 1930s.
