Epara an caters to the unique issues affecting women of colour with its line of organic and natural skincare.
Founded in 2017 by Ozohu Adoh, a native of Nigeria and Oxford University graduate who was searching for products on the market to alleviate her own skin woes.
Epara products contain neroli oil from Egypt, shea butter from Ghana, moringa oil from Kenya, and argan oil from Morocco. Other natural ingredients include red algea, plankton extract, and ylang ylang from Madagascar. Epara focus on relieving skincare issues such as hyperpigmentation - darkening of the patches of skin caused by excess melanin - and other common concerns for women of color.
